The Patrons' Party - July 27, 2019

Eric and Deanna Purcell & Family

Our hosts for this year's party.

Cumberland University's annual Patrons' Party will be hosted this year by Eric and Deanna Purcell at their home located at 1900 Shenandoah Trail in Lebanon. The festivities will take place on July 27th from 6 to 9pm.

The Purcells moved “home” to Tennessee three years ago after living throughout the southeastern states and California. Eric, originally from Kentucky met Deanna, a Lebanon native, while they were students at Western Kentucky University. They have three children, Brennen, Mattie Claire, and Keegan who attend Friendship Christian School. Eric is employed with Tesla Motors in Fremont, California and Deanna volunteers her time at Wilson County CASA, Miracle Power orphanage in Kenya, and Friendship Christian School, where she serves as co-president of the parent teacher organization.

Eric and Deanna are excited to host this year’s Patrons' Party. “We are honored to host the generous patrons of Cumberland University. We feel blessed to live in a city with a university that offers so much to their students and community. We have reaped the benefits, whether it has been attending cultural events on campus with our family and friends, sending our son to CU soccer camps, or having access to great academics right here in our hometown. We are excited to support the university’s continued growth and look forward to hosting this year’s Patrons' Party .”

Proceeds from the Phoenix Ball and Patrons' Party provide scholarships to current Cumberland University students. Tickets may be purchased by clicking the Tickets tab shown above.
